Shackleton Leadership Experience

Shackleton Leadership Experience

Offered at various locations

The Shackleton Leadership Experience is a unique leadership development program that will challenge you to lead with optimism to build resilient teams grounded in trust. Battlefield Leadership draws from key moments in history – crucial decisions and communication events – to provide lasting techniques to improve business performance. This program is an outstanding option for leaders of high-performing, results-oriented teams.

The saga of Sir Ernest Shackleton’s Endurance Expedition to Antarctica that began in 1914 remains one of the most amazing events of world history.  Shackleton has been called “the greatest leader that ever came on God’s earth, bar none” for saving the lives of twenty-seven men shipwrecked with him in the frozen seas of Antarctica from early 1915 to August 31, 1916. His highly optimistic, adaptive, and resilient leadership coupled with his tremendous competencies rescued his organization from almost certain destruction at the hands of a natural environment scarcely imaginable.
