The Calculated Impact Leadership Experience is a professional development program like no other. Our facilitators draw timeless leadership lessons from history, making them relevant to today’s leaders. During the program, we reframe the lessons of the past and work with your team to apply them to your unique situation. This program will transform your leaders so that they have the mindset to tackle tomorrow’s challenges head on and drive your organization’s results.

World War II made the aeronautical industry the biggest in the world. Explosive growth and the frenetic pace of technological innovation created an insatiable demand for human “computers,” engineers, and mathematicians. Women and African Americans who couldn’t get jobs at universities or private aerospace companies became part of the war effort, and many would go on to serve their country in the military and throughout the Space Race. This program explores the stories of several steadfast leaders who rose through the ranks of the Navy and NASA’s to chronicle the incredible impact they had in the early days of the technology book that enabled manned space flight.
