Appomattox Leadership Experience

Appomattox, VA

After four years of hard fighting by the Union and Confederate Armies, the Civil War came to a subdued end in the parlor of a modest house of a Virginia farmer at Appomattox Courthouse, Virginia, in 1865. This program presents the Confederate leaders who had to concede defeat and the Union leaders who had to decide how they would manage the outcome of their victory. Through historical case studies and class discussion, participants will learn how to enhance their strategic thinking, lead with empathy, and communicate a vision for the future with confidence.
