Mike Chibbaro tells stories about the construction of a historic 1938 minor league baseball park in Greenville, South Carolina. It became known as Meadowbrook Park and for the next 34 years, it was the home to a scrapbook full of sacred baseball memories. An impressive list of 40 Hall of Famers appeared at the historic park. Meadowbrook’s professional teams were the Spinners, Braves, Mets, Red Sox and Rangers. Nearly a hundred players from these teams played in the major leagues.
