Col. Cole C. Kingseed, PhD

Cole is a 30-year infantry veteran who commanded at the platoon, company, and battalion levels. A graduate of the University of Dayton (Ohio) in 1971, he served in a variety of military assignments, culminating in his tenure as Full Professor of History and Chief of Military History at the US Military Academy at West Point. Colonel Kingseed holds Master of Arts and PhD degrees from The Ohio State University and a Master of Arts in National Security and Strategic Studies from the US Naval War College. Col. Kevin W. Farrell, PhD

Col. Kevin W. Farrell spent over 30 years in uniform and commanded at the platoon, company, and battalion levels. A graduate of the United States Military Academy at West Point, New York, he served as an armor officer in a variety of leadership assignments in the United States, Europe, and the Middle East, and led American soldiers in combat in three different wars, including as an advisor to the Afghan National Army and, most significantly, as the commander of a 1,000-soldier combined arms battalion conducting extended combat operations in East Baghdad, Iraq. He also served on senior level staffs in Germany and the United States and was visiting professor to the George C. Marshall Center in Garmisch-Partenkirchen, Germany. Colonel Farrell’s most recent military assignment was as a tenured professor, chief of military history, at West Point. His military decorations include the Legion of Merit, the Bronze Star, and the Combat Action Badge.

Mike is a former senior partner with the global accounting and advisory firm Ernst & Young LLP (EY) and has over 30 years of executive leadership experience. Mike currently serves as executive vice president and business facilitator with Battlefield Leadership, LLC. He also provides leadership consulting and executive coaching services to leading organizations and professionals. In addition to co-facilitating Battlefield Leadership’s Antietam, Cowpens, Chickamauga, Gettysburg, Little Bighorn, and Normandy programs, Mike is a frequent speaker on the topics of leadership, organizational culture, and business ethics.
